Jack “The Ripper” Lindholm was best known for his dropknee skills at Pipeline but the quiet unassuming Hawaiian was  just as  talented at  prone  as well.

Ross Hawke scored the cover on Issue 2 of Riptide. It was snapped at Suckrock which at the time along with Shark Island was one of  the most desired bodyboarding waves in Australia back in 1990. This pic by Chris Stroh

Alan Horne was the first local in South Australia to take up serious bodyboarding. The year was 1980 and the old man of the sea was 27 years old. He went on to pioneer the sport and was a huge inspiration for the young crew when the sport became more popular in the 90′s. This shot captured Allen charging solid waves on the Southern Coastline .
