Ben Severson has scored plenty of front covers during his time at the top as a top bodyboarding proffessional. This Bodyboarding Mag cover was from ’93.

In ’73 Bobby Szabad ordered one of the first Morey original boards and Tom Morey actually hand delivered it to his address a month later and explained how it worked. The meeting had a lasting effect on Bobby who went on to become one of the pioneers of the manufacturing industry first with Morey then BZ. This photo of Bobby was taken at Ala Moana in ’74. In the early 90′s Lanson was a rising star on the Northshore of Hawaii. Whether busting big at Off The Wall, pulling in at Backdoor or rolling off the lip at Pipe he was the man to watch. Sasaki appeared on the cover of the June/July issue of Bodyboarding Magazine in ’88, at the time he was one of the most popular riders in the sport.
