Mikes unique Gyroll leash hits the market in the mid 90′s and almost overnight every bodyboarder wants one.

Eppo was the face of Billabong throughout the 90′s and was plastered over every bodyboard magazine. After his competitive career ended he worked for Billabong as there team manager for several years.

Guilherme Tamega from Brazil the most successful competition bodyboarder of the 90′s was the backbone of Wave Rebels advertisement campaign.

Aussie bodyboard champion Steve Bullet MacKenzie after a long association with Morey surprised many when he brought out a signature board model with Toobs in the late 90′s.

 

Paul Roach scored the cover of this Pit Magazine  from the US and featured heavily in the often left of centre editorial in most issues. Pit Mag had a strong following in the 90′s and was Free around this time in some areas.
