BB Life magazine from Japan was big throughout the 90′s. This 94/ 95 issue features Chad Babar on the cover. Written in Japanese the front cover is actually the back cover and you read the mag in reverse.

Voit duck feet swim fins were extremely popular with Bodysurfers, Lifeguards and Bodyboarders in the 70′s and 80′s. 2 styles were available Naval Orange or the Blue Streak. This adv. appeared in Surfing Magazine 1984.

Ben Severson has scored plenty of front covers during his time at the top as a top bodyboarding proffessional. This Bodyboarding Mag cover was from ’93.

In the early 90′s Shark Island was probaly the second most photographed bodyboard wave in the world next to Pipeline in Hawaii. Not surprising that someone would cash in its noteriety and pump out some Shark Island Clothing with Perce there mainman. Photo Stroh

Mike Stewart on the cover of Bodyboarding Magazine getting barreled with his  helmet-cam in ’94. Stewarts unique camera angels inside barrels inspired many others to go out and attempt to imitate his ground breaking tube rides.
