Turbo advertisement from Surfer Mag mid 80′s

One of many of Mikes Bodyboarding Mag Covers, this issue came out in April 1990.

Sixth Sense was a film by Scott Aichner and came out in the late 90′s. It featured a large slice of brilliantly shot 16mm footage,real technical and beautiful slo motion. At the time it was not appreciated as it was  still all about the big airs etc in movies but for anyone who loves quality then this vid is worth checking out. Today Scotty is one of the Surfing Worlds best water photographers.

Classic vid from the late 90′s by Super Hero Productions. Funny skits and killer action worth getting your hands on if your a collector. Featuring all the stars ,for a first time vid it nailed it.

This Dougy Robson Island shot was used in a Morey Boogie advertisement that came out in ’88.  Dougs profile was on the rise due to his rushing the Islands warping barrels, he was the most talked about rider in Australia around this time. photo by Greg Button.

In 1984 surf brand Lightning Bolt jumped on the bodyboard craze and pumped out a line of boards. Wonder if Jerry Lopez and Rory Russel ever tried them out at Pipe.

From the Underground Tapes action packed series of videos in the 90′s, Warped was a double feature. Along with the standard movie was a best of UTs as well. Starring all the usual rippers like Ballard,Tamega, Eppo, Bullet and the Island crew.
