662Mob was the work of Eddie Solomon a Californian bodyboarder known for his big wave charging at The Wedge at Newport and Waimea Shorey. Eddie was one of the first and most successful online bodyboard stores that popped up in the early 2000′s. Solomon loved the lifestyle and was a great promoter putting on premiers and wild parties. Eddie was also known for his sponsoring a heavy crew of core riders/ friends including Dre and Hubb. Unfortunately Eddies life was cut short due to a medical condition but 662mob continues on today. That’s Eddie furthest on the left.

Eddie Solomon was one of California’s big wave chargers throughout the late 90′s up until his recent untimely death. Eddie was a classic character. I never understood a word he was saying as he would talk at a hundred miles an hour, just like how he lived. Eddie was always looking for that special buzz and he found it out at Waimea Shorey. Sadly missed but not forgotten.Words and photo Stroh

Fast Eddie grew up in Orange County in California and soon earned a love for charging heavy waves. While others chased the Pro comp circus life Eddie began chasing the kind of waves that can bend you in to. Throughout the 90′s he became a regular out Waimea Shorey and Keiki every mutant swell. Working with Andre Botha the pair scored numerous amazing photos of their tube rushing. Eddie started up 666Mob.com and now owns several Bodyboard only stores. He is also involved heavily with USA Bodyboarding Mag. Of late Eddie has been dealt a bad hand when he was diagnosed with cancer. However the guy who can talk at a million miles an hour is one tough hombre and like many of the horrendous barrels he has pulled into , he will pull through.
